Over 50 primary schools across the county entered ahead of Team Limerick Clean-Up 5, which will see thousands of volunteers take to the streets of Limerick city and county for Europe's largest one-day clean up. Sponsored by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund, the event has seen over 360 tonnes of litter gathered from the streets since inception in 2015. Europe's biggest ever clean-up took place across Limerick today. Over 16,500 volunteers took to the streets of Limerick city and county to take part in Team Limerick Clean-up (TLC3)<br />

Representatives from biopharmaceutical company, Regeneron, were joined by TLC3 sponsor, JP McManus at a photocall to encourage other Limerick based companies to sign-up to the big clean-up which takes place on Good Friday, 14th April. Team Limerick Clean-up partners, Mr Binman, The Limerick Leader, Live 95FM, Limerick City & County Council also attended.<br />
